In Search of Safer Pregnancy Cosmetics

Four months into my first pregnancy I found out about the harmful effects of phthalates and parabens. At that point I changed my make-up, shampoo, conditioner, etc. It cost $80 to switch a few things, but it was important to my husband and I to give our son the best start possible.
My sister-in-law is now pregnant for baby #2. She is open for change so here goes my search for cosmetics that are not made up of a lot harmful chemicals. So far I like Badger Lip Balm (rating of zero on EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database). My mother and I bought the Classic Lip Balm 4-Pack - Green Box. It contains Tangerine Breeze, Pink Grapefruit, Lavender Orange, & Vanilla Madagascar. This balm is fantastic! It's USDA Certifed Organic and I feel good about sending it to my sister-in-law and using it myself.
