Feeling Random Today

Hi everyone! Wow, there's been so much going on for me this week. I know I usually do a green post or my occasional Other Tidbits but I feel like being random today:
The first thing that happened this week was the birth of my nephew. I was already blessed with a few nieces so having a nephew is a first for me. I'm very used to saying, "My nieces...." Now I get to say, "My nieces and nephew...." I'm so excited!!!
I've been appreciating music so much this week. I usually don't put that much thought into music but this week I've been thinking about it more and listening to it more. I put music on to jump start my cleaning but I always end up dancing around the living room with Little Stuff. He is so into music and loves to dance! My husband is much more into music than I am. I think Little Stuff will take after him.
When it comes to the dishes, this week I have been putting them away. My husband has the job of dealing with the dishes since I do all other cleaning, but I thought I'd help out. Unloading the dishwasher doesn't take forever anyway.
I've been spending a lot of time searching for new green products. Even though I do this on a regular basis, I spent a little more time doing so this week. I needed to order new facial scrub and makeup remover. I research, research, research before buying new products. I finally found a couple of things from the same line. I'm sure I'll review them so stay tuned.
I've been contemplating what I'm going to bake for St. Patrick's Day. I forgot all about Irish Soda Bread. I haven't made that since sixth grade! It's something to think about. I'll probably go with shamrock shaped cookies though. I'm anxious to see how my natural food coloring does with green. It didn't go so well when I tried it with frosting last week. Let's see if it's better with cookies.
Well, that's all the randomness I have for today. Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the reminder about soda bread. I have a recipe that was my great grandmothers that I haven't done since... Well, it's been a while.

We used the natural green food coloring for christmas and I have to say it didn't go well. We ended up with a very strange yellow green gross color, but it tasted pretty good so we just added more decorations to try to cover the color up :) I would love to find one that worked well for future cookies.
